Tahtalı Dağı, prominently located near the seaside resort of Kemer in Antalya Province, Turkey, is one of the most striking peaks of the Turkish Riviera. Reaching an elevation of 2,366 meters (7,762 ft), it is the highest mountain within the Beydağları Coastal National Park.
In antiquity, the mountain was known as Mount Olympus (Lycian: Olympos), sharing its name with several other significant peaks in the region, and was considered the mythical home of the gods. The ruins of the ancient city of Phaselis lie near its base.
Today, Tahtalı Dağı offers visitors a dramatic “sea to sky” experience, primarily via the Olympos Aerial Tramway (Teleferik). This cable car is renowned for being one of the longest in the world, ascending over 1,600 meters in just ten minutes, providing breathtaking panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea, the coastline, and the surrounding Taurus Mountains.
Beyond the cable car, the mountain is a hub for outdoor enthusiasts. It forms part of the historic Lycian Way long-distance trail, offering excellent opportunities for trekking and hiking. In season, adventurers can also experience exhilarating paragliding descents from the summit.
