Taman Tasik Titiwangsa

Taman Tasik Titiwangsa (Titiwangsa Lake Gardens) is a sprawling 46-hectare urban recreational park located just north of Kuala Lumpur’s city centre. Officially opened in 1980, its centerpiece is a large lake, which was originally an abandoned tin mine pond, now beautifully landscaped to reflect the surrounding greenery and the iconic KL skyline.

The park is a hub for outdoor activities, offering free entry and catering to visitors of all ages. Popular attractions include jogging and cycling tracks that circle the picturesque lake, perfect for capturing stunning photographs of city landmarks like the Petronas Twin Towers and KL Tower. Water recreation is available through boating, kayaking, and paddle boat rentals.

For recreation, families can enjoy dedicated children’s playgrounds and a waterplay area. Other unique facilities include courts for tennis and squash, outdoor exercise equipment, and even an area for radio-controlled car racing. Visitors can also opt for leisurely horseback riding. Taman Tasik Titiwangsa remains a favourite among locals for picnics, exercise, and enjoying a serene natural escape within the bustling city.
