Taman Tamadun Islam (TTI), or the Islamic Civilization Park, is a unique outdoor edutainment theme park located on Pulau Wan Man in Kuala Terengganu, not Kelantan as often assumed (it is a major Terengganu landmark). It is a magnificent showcase dedicated to the glory of Islamic art and architecture worldwide.
The park’s main draw is its collection of over 20 replicas of famous historical Islamic monuments and mosques from various nations, built to scale. Visitors can walk among miniature versions of structures like the Taj Mahal from India and the Dome of the Rock from Jerusalem, each accompanied by informative displays detailing their history and cultural significance.
A stunning icon of the park is the Masjid Kristal (Crystal Mosque), which stands majestically over the Terengganu River, built with steel, glass, and crystal elements that cause it to sparkle brilliantly, especially at night.
