KL Bird Park

The Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is a premier eco-tourism destination located in the scenic Kuala Lumpur Lake Gardens. Renowned as one of the world’s largest free-flight, walk-in aviaries, it sprawls over 20 acres and houses over 3,000 birds from more than 200 species, both local and foreign.

The park’s most unique feature is its concept of allowing birds to fly freely in enclosures that mimic their natural habitats, particularly in Zones 1 and 2. Visitors can experience an immersive rainforest ambiance, spotting magnificent creatures like the Great Hornbill, colourful parrots, flamingos in their dedicated pond, and peacocks roaming openly.

The park is divided into four zones, with Zone 3 dedicated to various Hornbill species and Zone 4 housing birds in separate cages and mini aviaries, including flightless birds like ostriches. Daily scheduled activities, such as bird feeding sessions and the main Bird Show in the amphitheatre, offer engaging educational experiences for all ages. The KL Bird Park provides a vibrant, close-up encounter with avian life right in the heart of the city.
